For the Record: “I incorporate a wide array of theories and methodology into my teaching, coming from both Classical and Jazz traditions, along with my own approach to technique which I’ve spent years developing.

“While I choose to keep my discipline in jazz, I play all types of music and truly value all styles. That’s why there are so many musicians who have deeply impacted me from so many different musical backgrounds. Artists like John Coltrane, Wayne Shorter, Hindemith, Bach, Slayer, Pantera, Travis Scott, and Kool Keith, to name just a few.”
